Red Lines

Red Lines is a suite of short films that seek to raise awareness about three forms of modern slavery : county lines, cuckooing and the exploitation of foreign workers and students.

Each film interlinks with the others and was filmed in one continuous shot.

While fictional in nature, the stories portrayed in these films are based on the lived realities of some of the courageous people we have connected with and cared for through the work of Red Community.

Our hope is that these films would be seen by individuals who might be experiencing, or vulnerable to, these forms of exploitation, so please do spread them far and wide (a link to a rotatable version of each story that is suitable for mobile devices is available below each film).

And if you are on this page and are concerned about yourself or someone else please call the Modern Slavery Helpline for FREE on 08000 121 700.

We are grateful to Broadside films and 2V Studios for creating these films for us.
