Arise Conference

Join Red Community in Cardiff on Saturday 13th October for the Arise Conference.

Arise is a unique mini conference that will couple both a strong gospel-centred case for engaging in anti-trafficking justice ministry with practical examples of work by those on the frontline. The goal of Arise is to inspire, encourage and equip ‘ordinary’ Christians to fight injustice and make a difference wherever they are at.

The main address will be given by Dai Hankey and will be followed by a range of TedTalk-style sessions from contributors from Red Community, Embrace and Manumit Coffee. We will be introduced to an amazing ministry that supports survivors of sex trafficking in Albania called Eagle’s Wings and discover ways we can support them. We will also hear from a good friend of ours, Jade, who has spent many years rescuing and rehabilitating women who have ben trafficked in the Mediterranean. Oh, there’s even brunch too!!

It promises to be a fantastic day and we would love for you to join us. All the information is on the flyer above. Please email to confirm your attendance and we look forward to seeing you there.

Red Sessions: Coming to a church near you...

Red Sessions.jpg

In January 2013 Red Community was born. It began as a monthly prayer meeting called ‘Red Sessions’. These sessions were always held in a central, neutral venue in Cardiff and were generally attended by Christians who already carried a burden for human trafficking.

This year, however, we are keen to explore a different way of running Red Sessions, namely by running them as awareness raising / prayer events in individual churches throughout Wales. These could be part of an existing Sunday / midweek meeting, or as a unique standalone event. We have a suite of multimedia resources available to us, a team of experienced speakers and a range of practical opportunities for church members to get involved in the fight against human trafficking and modern slavery.

If you would interested in hosting a Red Sessions event at your church then we would love to hear from you. Please contact for more information.
